1. Cleanse your skin thoroughly and pat dry.
2. Apply ½ to 1 dropper of the aha bha serum directly to your face, neck, and décolletage, avoiding the eye area.
3. Use the AHA and BHA serum at night, as it contains exfoliating acids that may increase sun sensitivity.
4. Follow with your preferred INSKIN.CO hydrator or a gentle moisturiser.
5. Always apply sunscreen the next morning when using exfoliating acids.

It’s best to be mindful when layering an AHA and BHA serum with other actives. Here’s how to do it safely:

• Vitamin C - Generally Vitamin C in the morning and the Multi-Active & BHA Serum at night. Alternatively, if using the INSKIN.CO Vitamin C Serum, you can layer it over the top of the Multi Active & BHA Serum to increase the absorption if recommended by a Skin Expert and or if you suffer with hyperpigmentation and sun damage.
• Retinol - Avoid using Retinol and this AHA BHA serum in the same routine. Both are potent actives and using them together can lead to over-exfoliation or sensitivity. If your skin is accustomed to actives, alternate between the two on different nights. Alternatively, if using Bakuchiol & B3 Serum it is safe to layer these to increase the absorption of the Bakuchiol & B3.
• Hyaluronic Acid - Hyaluronic Acid can be layered with the Multi-Active & BHA Serum to boost hydration as the Multi Active & BHA Serum will help to increase the absorption of hydrating serums. Apply the exfoliating serum first to exfoliate and then follow with a hydrating serum like Hyaluronic Acid or Tremella & B3 Serum.
• Niacinamide (B3) - Niacinamide is gentle and can be layered with the Multi-Active & BHA Serum as it will increase the absorption of the Niacinamide.
• Peptides - Peptides can be used after the AHA BHA serum to increase the absorption of the peptides.
• AHA or Lactic Acid - Avoid layering other AHA BHA serums or skincare products with this serum, as they may cause irritation due to the combined exfoliation. Instead, alternate use on different nights.

Unfortunately, our AHA BHA serum is not suitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for those with an aspirin allergy due to the salicylic acid content.
